* BAGHDAD - A suicide bomber drove a car into a crowd of Shi'ite pilgrims in the Bayaa district of southwestern Baghdad, killing nine people and wounding 28, police and hospital sources said.
* BAGHDAD - A car bomb exploded near Shi'ite pilgrims in the Shaab district of northern Baghdad, killing six people, including four police officers, and wounding 24 others, police and hospital sources said.
BAGHDAD - Two roadside bombs targeting Shi'ite pilgrims killed at least two people and wounded 12 other in southern Baghdad, a local police source said.
HILLA - A sticky bomb attached to a bus carrying Afghan pilgrims blew up and wounded nine people late on Sunday in northern Hilla, 100 km (62 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.
BALAD - A bomb planted on the wall of a policeman's house went off, damaging the house and wounded the policeman, his wife and three children late on Sunday in Balad, 80 km (50 miles) north of Baghdad, a security operations centre source said.
FALLUJA - A bomb planted on the wall of a policeman's house blew up and wounded two of his relatives late on Sunday in northern Falluja, 50 km (32 miles) west of Baghdad, police said.
BAGHDAD- Police killed a militant while he was planting a roadside bomb near a main road used by Shi'ite pilgrims late on Sunday in the Doura district of southern Baghdad, the Baghdad security operations command said.
MAHMUDIYA - Iraqi soldiers said they killed a militant while he was planting a roadside bomb near a main road used by Shi'ite pilgrims late on Sunday in the town of Mahmudiya, about 30 km (20 miles) south of Baghdad, the Baghdad security operations command said.
