Plane off runway in Sicily, several slightly injured

ROME, Sept 24 (Reuters) - An Airbus A300 of the Italian airline Wind Jet went off the runway upon landing at Palermo airport in Sicily on Friday night and several people were slightly injured, fire brigades said.

The passengers evacuated the plane on emergency inflatable chutes. At least three passengers suffered minor stratches and bruises, they said.
