Matthew Spencer


Matthew Spencer is global director for landscapes at IDH - The Sustainable Trade Initiative, overseeing the regional landscape teams in Asia, Africa and Latin America, a landscape finance team and a markets team working to raise demand for sustainable commodities. Matthew trained in environmental biology, began his career working on forest protection and rural development in the Andes of Ecuador and has spent 30 years working in the not-for-profit sector.
