Artists shine light on human trafficking in Delhi exhibition

Two artists from India and France teamed up for an exhibition at the Alliance Francaise in New Delhi highlighting the plight of millions of victims of human trafficking around the world.

The "Not My Life: Artists Respond" exhibition featuring nearly 70 works was inspired after artists Dominque Gribot-Carroz and Kanchan Chander watched a 2012 documentary called "Not My Life" which showed how children worldwide are exploited and forced into work. The exhibition ended this week.

India is home to more than 14 million victims of slavery, ranging from bonded labour to prostitution, according to the 2014 Global Slavery Index.
