DAKAR, June 23 (Reuters) - Senegal's President Abdoulaye Wade has completely withdrawn a law he had proposed to change the country's electoral law, his minister of justice told parliament on Thursday.

Wade had earlier withdrawn a proposal to reduce to 25 percent the minimum score needed to win in the first round of next year's election, but controversial plans to create the position of vice president had remained on the table.

The two proposals led to widespread clashes between anti-Wade protestors and drew criticism from international donors worried about democracy being undermined.
