PRAGUE, April 19 (Reuters) - The Czech Republic's three-party coalition has agreed to continue in government together, averting collapse following a corruption scandal, a government source told Reuters on Tuesday.
The deal follows weeks of uncertainty during which Prime Minister Petr Necas had demanded the dismissal of ministers from junior coalition party Public Affairs after party deputies accused its unofficial leader of paying them to keep them loyal.
The accused, Transport Minister Vit Barta, has denied any wrongdoing and resigned last week.
"There is an agreement, the Public Affairs are staying in the government," the coalition source said following a more than a five-hour meeting of party leaders. (Reporting by Jan Korselt; Writing by Jana Mlcochova; Editing by Louise Ireland)
