ABIDJAN, Jan 11 (Reuters) - At least five people were killed in clashes between supporters of Ivory Coast's presidential claimant Alassane Ouattara and forces loyal to incumbent Laurent Gbagbo in Abidjan on Tuesday, a Reuters reporter saw.

Two bodies of protesters and three police lay in the streets, all with gunshot wounds, after the protests in the predominantly pro-Ouattara neighbourhood of Abobo, as hundreds of police backed with armoured vehicles and machine guns patrolled.

Sporadic gunfire could be heard across the neighbourhood. (Reporting by Ange Aboa; Writing by Tim Cocks)
