MEXICO CITY, Nov 27 (Reuters) - Diego Fernandez de Cevallos, a prominent Mexican politician who was kidnapped in May, has been released, El Universal reported on Saturday.

The daily Mexican newspaper, quoting members of the politician's family, said Fernandez was released Friday night. No further details were immediately available.
