Oct 24 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1730 GMT on Sunday. * Denotes new or updated item

* NIMRUD - A former Iraqi intelligence officer who served under Saddam Hussein died after Iraqi army soldiers raided his home in the northern town of Nimrud, 40 km (30 miles) southeast of Mosul, police said. It was not clear how he died.

MOSUL - A car bomb exploded inside a public hospital complex, killing two civilians and wounding 19 others in western Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, the commander of police in Nineveh province, Hassan Attiya, said.
